Alice May Sampson married Clarence Mungles the year before they left with her parents and sister to join her brothers who had already acquired work in Michigan. The records indicate that Alice lived in the US from 1923 up to 1936. A decision was made to return to Cornwall and it is assumed that Clarence went ahead and thus we find Alice and her daughters making the trip back to Cornwall in 1936. It appears that Clarence and Alice lived the remainder of their lives in Cornwall.
